C.V.V. Willemstad U13A –Excellence 3-1(2-1)

At last the youth football competition of Cura√ßao for the season 2010-2011 started today. U13 of Willemstad played Excellence in their first match. The coach made some changes in the line-up compared to the last training matches. Dan was the goalkeeper. Jair and Casper were the two backs,Tyrone played defense¬† and Duane in front of him. Mats,Dejan and Ralph were the midfielders and Alfredo,Chendo and Jaysee were the attackers. Bob,Nacho,Gidon and Rouel were the substitutes.¬† Both teams started of a little nervous with not very good football. Excellence tried to play the game on midfield and the team played very tied. After a few minutes the captain of Excellence had to leave the game with an injury. This opened up their defense a little more. Half way the first half e defender of Excellence made a handball and Duane scored the go ahead goal out of the penalty given by the referee. A few minutes later Mats scored the 2-0 out of a corner of Dejan. From their on Excellence tried to get some pressure on the defense of Willemstad. Just before half time a free just outside the box was taken by Excellence. All the defenders of Willemstad missed the ball and a player of Excellence was able to score the 2-1. The second half was a lot like the first half with a difference in the line up. Rouel came in to play defense. Tyrone moved up a position in front of Rouel and Duane went to play on midfield. This put a little more pressure on Excellence. Half way the second half out of a beautiful attack Nacho was able to score the 3-1. From there on Willemstad won the game and although it wasn’t a good game the first step has been taken in this competition in the right direction by the U13 of Willemstad.

NAC Breda FC Utrecht 3-1 (1-1)

NAC Breda seems to be almost unbeatable at their own Rat Verlegh Stadium this season. On the other hand on the road they are losing all their matches. Time to start winning away games and move up the table.

C.V.V. Willemstad U13A –SUBT 2-2 (1-0)

Today Tyrone played a friendly game with Willemstad against SUBT.¬† As to be expected Willemstad was the better team. Willemstad tried to let the ball do the work by playing around in a fast pace. By doing so Willemstad created more then 20 opportunities to score a goal but they had difficulty in doing so. From all these chances only twice were they able to score. On the other side SUBT did only got 4 chances and they were able to score twice as well. Willemstad should really work on their scoring abilities.

Willemstad U13 –Quick ’60 2-0 (1-0)

Willemstad U13 had to play their third and last game in the warming-up tournament against Quick ’60. Tyrone played left midfielder and play the entire game. Willemstad won by two goals by Duane. Tyrone had three shots on goal and one hit the post of the goal when it came of the keeper. Because of this result Willemstad moves on to the semi-finals.

Willemstad –Quick’60 6-0 (5-0)

Because the competion of Quick ’60 Will continue next week,Willemstad organized a trainingmatch against Quick ’60 today. Unfortuntely Quick ’60 showed up with only 5 boys. So game started 1,5 hours behind schedule,because they used some players of the U11 and the U11 played game before the U13. Tyrone played left midfielder. Willemstad was the beter team and easily won with 6-0.
