Like I predicted last week this is going to be a looong season. Today NAC Breda’s headcoach took af to another team(Krakow in Poland) and NAC Breda lost their second game in a row with 3-1. Although NAC Breda scored in the first minute(Matthew Amoah) to go ahead Heerenveen came back strong and scored three times to win this game. NAC Breda is all alone at the bottom of the table now.

Two red cards(Jansen and Gorter), and one player injured(Kwakman) with only 4 substitutes on the bench and a loss with 3-1. This is going to be a very difficult season for NAC Breda.

NAC Breda the first match of the Dutch competition against AZ at home today. NAC Breda started of this competition with -1 (minus one) points. Due to the fact that last season on one occasion NAC Breda didn’t pay the pension premiums on time, the KNVB decided to deduct a point at the start of the competition. NAC Breda started with one new player in the line-up compared to last season. Cees Luijckx was the new man. He played as a defense midfielder. The first half both teams didn’t play well. But the second half the both teams improved and it was AZ who was able to score the 0-1 in the ‘58 minute to go ahead. Ten minutes before the end of the match Joonas Kolka played a long ball from the right side of midfield to the right field attacker Anthony Lurling. Lurling headed the ball over the keeper in front of the goal and Matthew Amoah scored his first of the season for the equalizer. NAC Breda now has zero points and is the number 12 on the table after the first round.

Willemstad U13 – Scherpenheuvel 0-2(0-0)

End of the season 2009-2010 for Willemstad U13. Today they lost with 0-2 and will not play the finals next weekend. Scherpenheuvel will play against Hubenil in the finals who beat Mahuma yesterday.

Although the U13 lost they played one of their best games of the season. Two moments of lack of concentration in the defense at the end of the game gave Scherpenheuvel the opportunity to score the two goals.

Third place in the play offs and second place in the regular competition is a very good result for this team with coach Randell. The team developed very well this season and all the boys have made a step forward again.

Willemstad U13 – Hubentud Fortuna 3-4(1-1)

In the second game of the play offs Willemstad U13 lost to Hubentud Fortuna with 3-4. This result only leaves a theoretical chance for Willemstad U13 to get to the finals. Due to disciplinary sanction Bjorn and Rouel weren’t able to play and during the game it appeared that this was key to the result. Coach Randell started with the following line-up. Brandon as the keeper. Jhair, Stefan, Luis and Dwensley were the defenders. Giovanni, Yannick and Mats on midfield and Dejan, Duane and Chaendo the attackers. Luis was substituted in the first half by Jean with an injury. In the second half Yeandro, Yeandrick and Tyrone came in for Dejan and Giovanni . From the first minute Hubentud was the better team. Every ball was played to their number one attacker and he alone was driving the defenders of Willemstad crazy with his rushes. So it was Hubentud who scored the 1-0. This didn’t chance the game around and Hubentud stayed the better team. At every play the Hubentud players were hosteling with far more energy. But it was Duane who out of the blue equalized just before halftime. The second half Willemstad played better but once again it was Hubentud who took the lead. Jhair tripped an attacker and this resulted in a penalty kick for Hubentud 1-2. After this goal Willemstad got a few chances and it was again Duane to equalized the game. Willemstad started to push to go ahead but it was Hubentud who scored with a beautiful goal the 2-3. Then Duane made his third for the 3-3. It looked like Willemstad would have a chance to win this game but a few minutes before the game was over it was once again the big attacker of Hubentud who shook of three players to score the winning goal.
